I've been in the jpop fandom almost a whole year now (if you don't count the previous two years of casually watching jdramas and Arashi variety shows) and because of that, things have changed a lot. I got myself a new partner who's almost as obsessive as I am, I'm FINALLY learning Japanese which is something I've been meaning to do for ages, and I've started writing fanfic again which I haven't done for about six years or so. All in all, it's been pretty good.
...I mean, it's also consumed my life and possibly my soul, but hey. Pretty good.
